Hello Loves,

We did it. We made it to the end of another roller coaster of a year. I’m feeling a lot of things right about now. Much of which is sadness, simply put. It feels a little harder to enjoy my favorite sparkly time of year when there is so many people experiencing hurt all around me. It can feel almost as if I’m diminishing it, by being in a festive mood.

I have no great wisdom bomb to drop here, but I will share with you how I’m working through it. First, I’m taking it moment to moment. I’m acknowledging how I feel and not trying to cover it up or push it aside. It also helps to surround yourself with people who are also comfortable allowing you to feel however you feel and don’t expect you to be at peak party form, all the time.

I’m also doing all the things that I know I love to do this time of year. Say yes to getting together with friends, baking the cookies, finding the perfect gift, and going out of my way to see all the lights.

This doesn’t make the bad things and big feelings disappear, but it does fill me up so that I can better get through them. That feels like enough.

My wish for all of you is to be surrounded by lots of love and that you allow it fill you up until you are overflowing, making it effortless to pour your love into others. I also hope you will look for your own moments of sparkle this season.

Coaching Conversations

In November I had the great joy of piloting a workshop that has been in the works for over a year and on my heart for much longer.

Finding Your Way focuses on creating goals that are aligned with your values and leverage your strengths, so there is a solid ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind each one. This workshop also expands how goals are defined by understanding them in terms of areas of our lives in which we would like more satisfaction. We’re going for fewer metrics and more meaning.

Attendees walk away knowing who they are, how they work and what they want.

I feel so privileged to have had such amazing and engaged attendees who were willing to go deep, be vulnerable, and challenge their discomfort. I think we were all a little surprised at some of the revelations and the level of emotions experienced.
